We receive zero funding from any and all levels of Government. We are one of the few Groups that are completely volunteer based (none of the Directors or Volunteers draw a salary from our Group) and 100% of all donations go directly to the children and their families in the form of food, clothing, fuel and the basic requirements to maintain the building and bus.

It is not unusual to see poverty, child abuse, drug abuse, prostitution, and criminal activities in these areas. This is why, at the Joshua Group, we value mentorship, inspiring youth, and community. We are committed to meeting these values and integrating them into all we do. Our mandate is to provide each child direction as to what each of them could be which would mean showing them the importance of completing high school and then introducing them to future opportunities such as university and trade schools.
